Body size is an important factor for belonging in in the work place, but it is not often discussed as far as supporting faculty and staff. This article highlights both information about how anti-fat bias shows up in the workplace in assumptions about employees with larger body sizes and how this leads to decision-making about hiring, promotions and salaries. In addition, the author discusses tips for managers and team members to consider when recruiting, onboarding, and setting workplace accessibility.
