Parking and Transportation

Parking

University parking is available in the Guadalupe Garage (GUG), which you can enter from 17^th Street. The garage offers faculty/staff and student permit parking, visitor parking, paid daily parking and department parking options. We can validate your parking in GUG, so be sure to bring your ticket in with you. Overflow parking is available curbside using the City of Austin metered ParkX app and next door in the Wells Fargo Tower Garage at 400 W 15^th Street.

You will need to enter through the front door of UTA on Guadalupe St.

Bus

The building is accessible via many Capital Metro bus routes. For specific routes and times from your location, use the CapMetro Trip Planner. Pickle Research Campus employees can take the MetroRapid 803 bus which runs through PRC and drops off in front of our building.

Walking

Walking to UTA from the center of campus takes about 10 to 15 minutes. The UTA Building is two blocks south of the main UT campus.

Biking

Bike racks can be found on the north side of the building.
