Over the past year of heightened stress, more emphasis has been placed on the importance of self-care, or making time to promote your physical and mental wellbeing. This makes sense; as we go through more hardship, it will naturally be more difficult to focus on wellness on top of everything else. However, this emphasis on self-care has mostly been placed on adults. Times of stress affect our children as well, meaning they need self-care just as much as adults.
