2:45 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. EAP Presentation: Taking a Self-Compassion Break
As a therapist, I find that most people have plenty of practice in viewing themselves through a judgmental lens, often saying things to themselves that they would never say or think about if their friend was in the same situation. Most of us are not taught how to engage in self-compassion so that we can be more mindful, connect to the human experience, and be kind to ourselves. In this session, participants will learn the basics, including the three elements of self-compassion. Participants will also be led through a Self-Compassion Break and receive tips on practicing in their lives.
