As humans, we are wired for survival and have an inherent need for connection and safety. The state of our mind and body dictates how we react to situations, people, environments, and other factors. Understanding our stress responses and what others bring to the environment gives us the power to regulate ourselves at times when we feel dysregulated, stressed, or overwhelmed. In this workshop, we will discuss the mind-body connection, outline the various stress responses, and begin to identify your go-to survival mechanisms. This 1 hour virtual workshop will involve an educational component as well as participant discussion, and will be held on Wednesday, May 7th at 11 am. Sign up via UT Learn.
